Back to School Necessities

It's that time of the year again! Summer is ending and school is taking over. It is time to slowly start accumulating the necessary school supplies! A laptop is a very important supply to use during school! It will help with your research, writing essays, and online homework. A great company to purchase a laptop from is Apple. The employees at Apple are truly caring and helpful. They know their products like the back of their hand and are very professional. Once you have purchased a laptop, the employees will help you set it up answer any questions you may have about it.

Another necessity for school is a backpack or a purse. Personally, I prefer to have a backpack. If you prefer to carry a cute purse, a larger size will be more functional while you are forced to carry your school supplies/books!

I encourage everyone at any school, or university to always carry your student ID with you! It is very convenient to have as many stores and companies give a reasonably high discount to those who have proof that they are "students". Who would want to miss out on a great

discount? Another reason to carry your school ID is that it will let you into school events! Getting involved with one's school community and/or getting to know their fellow peers is a great way to feel comfortble and happy with where you are studying. Attending your school's sports games or dances is a very social way to start the year off!

It is also necessary to get the basic items for back to school! Such as pencils, pens, paper, a calendar, and even an alarm clock. An alarm clock will save people from being late to their classes. Most students say, "Why buy an alarm clock when I can simply use my cell phone?" I for one have tried this, and from experience it is very easy to turn the alarm off and go back to sleep because most of us sleep with our phones right next to us! An alarm clock that is plugged in far away enough to where a person has to physically get out of their bed to turn it off is the best approach to take. Of course, this will only work if you set your schedule so that you can achieve a good night sleep! The two go together like peanut butter and jelly.

Also, instead of borrowing supplies from friends on the daily, be sure to have your own pens, pencils, and paper. Being prepared in class is a great quality to have and it shows dedication and a desire to learn. Make sure you start the school year off the right way and that you're truly prepared to get your education on!
