Coachella Crazed!

Festival season is coming up! One of my favorite parts of any music festival is the elaborate and colorful makeup looks! Every year, the Coachella grounds fill with the most colorful and creative people you could imagine and that’s totally translated into the outfits and especially the makeup looks of the people. Face art like jewels and face paint, bold colors, and pearlescent shadows are just a few of the many makeup trends that you can find adorned on the face of the festival goers. I personally love the Coachella makeup looks, but I wanted to try and make it more wearable for everyday or for special occasions. Even if you’re not going to Coachella, you can still rock the beauty looks!

For this makeup look, I chose to use purples to give the look a colorful element as well as a deep purple to give a little more of an earthy vibe. For eyeshadow, I chose to use a matte magenta color for the whole eyelid and a pearlescent purple for the inner corner and brow bone highlight. By using different shades of purple, you can add some depth to the look while still staying with the same color scheme! For lips, I chose a deep matte plum color that makes a statement. Because of the often sunny weather at Coachella, you may need to use a different bronzer than you usually do to give your face some glow! Using a bronzing palette will allow you to mess around with different bronzing colors as well as not have to pack more makeup than you need to. Finally, for a little Coachella touch, some face jewels around the eyes or along the side of the face would add a creative and whimsical element to your makeup look!
