Iconic Red Carpet Fashion

What is it about seeing our favorite it-girls parading around the red carpet in their gorgeous gowns that fascinates us so much? Is it the fact that these stars are changing up their looks using their fashion senses? Or do we appreciate how they are inspiring us to pick a few outfit choices for ourselves?

Along with recognizing achievements in the entertainment industry, awards ceremonies and other high profile gala celebrity events are equally known for the outfits worn by A-list stars. Best-dressed lists and fashion commentary often play a key role in the reportage of red carpet events, and looks seen on the red carpet are also often featured in television programs like Fashion Police. Furthermore, having a dress featured on the red carpet, particularly one that attracts media attention, is vital to launching a fashion designer’s career. In the end, it’s obvious that something about red carpet attire appeals to the public even if we can’t put a finger on the reason. So for now, let’s take a trip down memory lane and remember all of the iconic red carpet fashion looks that made us want to ask, “Who are you wearing?”
