Today we are going to talk about every girl’s best friends: accessories! We all know that accessories can either make or break an outfit, and it’s amazing how a killer pair of heels or an exquisite purse can completely enhance an entire look. However, accessories are still susceptible to trends, and sometimes we can’t afford to invest in well-made items that cost an arm and a leg, especially when they will be considered “out” the next season. Furthermore, deciding which accessory we should splurge on is oftentimes not one of our top priorities, considering we have a whole other list of everyday expenses to worry about. This is a situation that is particularly true for us students.
This may seem discouraging, but a lot of us are still actively searching for cute yet low-priced accessories to get our hands on. That’s why I've rounded up a list of a few brands and places to shop for the perfect accoutrements that don’t break the bank, but still look great!
Nordstrom
There is a great selection of accessories available for young women at Nordstrom. It offers a wide range of handbags, watches, jewelry, scarves, and belts that you can mix and match to your heart’s content. From classic to eccentric and boho to patriotic, Nordstrom always sells the best accessories on their shelves to ensure stylish assets for less.
Aldo
Some of us proudly label ourselves as platform pumps types of girls, while others prefer to lounge around in a comfortable pair of flats. No matter what your footwear preference may be, Aldo offers a massive assortment of shoes, boots, and handbags that ensures we’re getting the best of both sartorial worlds.
Forever 21
Forever 21 is full of interesting easy-to-wear items that are often less than $30. Here, you can score a couple versatile earrings for every outfit and standout statement necklaces to throw on while you’re on the go. Charm bracelets, bold clutches, and simple pearls are a just few accessories you can buy at Forever 21 to make your look even more striking.
Icing
Icing can be a great store to browse whether you’re looking for an inexpensive ring to match a specific outfit or you’re hoping to try a new trend without investing a lot of cash. You can opt to go boho with feather hair pieces, sweet with a lace headband, or edgy with a choker – whatever style you’re searching for, you can find it at Icing.
Etsy
This online marketplace where unique handmade items are up for sale and a wide variety of vendors are selling is an option you should definitely check for one-of-a-kind accessories. There are also varying prices for accessories ranging from jewelry to handbags to belts and shoes.
As you can see, there isn’t a shortage in brands and stores that sell affordable accessories to complement any wardrobe and taste. This is great news for students since buying accessories that run in the spectrum of vivid colors, metallic leather, and delicate details that won’t break the bank is an opportunity we’ll never pass up.
