Messy Girl, Messy Life

Imagine that you are late for your class and you just can't seem to find your homework! Your room is a mess... so you start to search through piles of clothes lying on the ground, then you search your binder while tons of papers are flying out of it. When you still can't find it, you start to check your desk while pencils and crayons are fall everywhere. At this point, you are either going be to really late or you'll have to forget about turning in your homework. You decide to keep searching and once you finally find your homework, you race to your car and drive to class as fast as you can, stressed about how late you're going to be. This is the result of disorganization. Not only does being disorganized cause stress, but it can also negatively effect your. Organization is necessary in school, as well as in life! Don't get me wrong… I hate cleaning my room. But when it is clean it's much more easy to locate my things which causes less stress in my life.

Here are some simple tips to stay organized:

  • Use a daily planner

  • Keep notes in your phone

  • Use baskets and boxes to organize bedroom and desk items

  • Use small storage containers for closet and bathroom items

  • LABEL EVERYTHING

Many people say that what's inside a girls purse determines the type of girl that she is! Messy purse messy life right? Well, having a messy purse does result in a lot of scrambling. Scrambling before you pay, scrambling to find your ID when necessary, scrambling to find your phone while you hear it ringing, who wants that?! Being organized is a stress relief as well as a good quality to have. An organized person creates a great student and a well put together professional person. Good organization gives you an advantage in work, school, and all other events in life. Be organized! And work it girl!
