My Go-To Fall Layering Pieces

It’s no secret that Fall is filled with cozy sweaters, boots, and scarves, but what many don’t know is how to wear these pieces with layers to fit the chilly temperatures. Layers are a must, especially for those of us who are constantly on the go and want to be comfortable. Below are a few of my favorite clothing items to layer this Fall. Give them a try! You won’t be disappointed.

  1. High socks and leggings- Not only do high socks keep your feet extra warm, but they also look great over a pair of leggings with boots! This look is casual, comfortable, and affordable. They are perfect to wear out to lunch, to school, or anywhere you may be headed.

2. Oversized flannel with an infinity scarf- This fall, flannels are a must! They’re coming in as one of the trendiest pieces of the season, and when you layer an infinity scarf over, it instantly becomes warm and comfortable. You can find one almost anywhere, but the most convenient way to snag one is probably from your boyfriend’s or brother’s closet!

3. Leather leggings/pants and a big sweater- Leather leggings may be a scary thought, but once you give them a try I’m sure you’ll love them! When they are paired with an oversized basic sweater, your legs look extra slim and it makes your overall outfit look much more dressed up. It’s an easy way to stay comfortable but look put together and ready to go.

4. Dress with a long-sleeve underneath- Time to try something new! Instead of packing away all of your cute dresses and not seeing them until next Spring, try putting on a basic long-sleeve underneath! It transforms the dress and actually looks really cute. Give it a try!

5. Red coat with black leggings- This is a timeless, classic look. Red will give your outfit the perfect pop of color without looking too bold. All you need to do is layer the red coat over a black long-sleeve, black leggings, and black shoes. The compliments will come flying in!

These are my go-to fall layering pieces this season, and I hope you give them a try!
