1. Throw a crochet party!
Once, I attended a crochet party thrown by a few of my friends. To me, crocheting sounded very boring. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that crocheting is very fun and you can create beautiful pieces of clothing through croqueting I recommend ordering a “How To Crochet” magazine/article that teaches beginners the basics to croqueting.
Gather a group of your friends and have a movie and croqueting night in! With snacks and different colored yarns, you will have a great time.
Or grab a family member and invite them to learn to crochet with you. This can be bonding opportunity for the both of you!
2. Read a Book!
If you don’t enjoy reading, you have not yet found the right book. In my opinion, books can be much better than movies, as they express much more detail and information regarding their story. The pictures that you create from books are often better than movies, as you are imaging each scene yourself.
Recommended Books:
Pride and Prejudice- Jane Austen
Wuthering Heights-Emily Brontë
The Great Gatsby-Scott F. Fitzgerald
Alice In Wonderland (Original story)-Lewis Carroll
To Kill A Mockingbird- Harper Lee
Personally, I also enjoyed Twilight-Stephanie Meyer
3. Bake some Treats!
Here is a Peanut Butter Cookie recipie that I enjoy:
2 cups of peanut butter
2 cups sugar (white)
2 eggs
A teaspoon of vanilla
A dash or two of salt
2 teaspoons of baking soda
Oven should be preheated to 350 degrees, dough rolled onto cookie sheets baked for a maximum of 10 minutes! You can even switch it up and add 1 cup of white sugar along with 1 cup of brown sugar.
