Concert Review: Vance Joy

Everyone has heard Riptide play a million times on the radio. Vance Joy, the Australian songwriter, is currently on his first tour called Fire and the Flood which features songs from his album and previous EPs. I saw Vance Joy at the Shrine and it was an amazing experience. Jaime Lawson opened up the show with an acoustic set that made the crowd cry. Elle King came on second and wowed the crowd with her up tempo jazz. She commanded the stage and the whole audience was captivated. When Vance came on the crowd cheered so loudly that it practically shook the room. He played his songs accompanied by his amazing band and came on for 2 encores. It was a fantastic show and I am so happy I had the opportunity to see them perform.
