Fashion is a very important part of my life. I choose clothing and accessories that represent me and are unique to my fashion style. If you think about it, culture is very similar to that. All over the world, you can see how people's culture and lifestyle affect what they choose to put on their bodies. In Africa, you'll find that women wear very light and airy clothing (because of the hot weather) and bold colors/patterns that represent them and their culture. However, in somewhere colder such as Europe, you'll see people with heavier clothing as well as (in the cities) more high fashion and items that push the so called "boundaries" of fashion. For me, my sense of style is affected by the culture of Southern California. To be more specific, the fact that Southern California is filled with a whole mixing pot of people. I feel that Southern California's culture is represented through the plethora of unique people who are often not afraid to express themselves in many ways. Everyday I see so many different types of clothing and accessories on the people around me. Wether it be a more beach-y style or a punk rock style (you know the whole ripped jeans, all black thing). Personally, I express my love for edgy, street inspired fashion through a small variety of colors (usually black or gray) and bolder choices in shoes. As well as this, I express my love for music through my choice of t-shirts.
